Natural Habitat Adventures Launches NEW Zimbabwe Land & Lake Safari
Discover Zimbabwe’s secluded expanse of floodplains, sandveld and riverbanks, a haven for families of elephant, buffalo, lion and leopard, yet far from the conventional safari circuit. This innovative itinerary combines a visit to Victoria Falls and classic game drives in four national parks with guided bush walks and a three-night cruise on Lake Kariba aboard the elegant new African Dream riverboat. Embark on sunrise game drives in Hwange National Park, where cheetah, wildebeest and African wild dog thrive within its extensive 5,600 square miles of land, and enjoy evenings in vintage-style comfort at Davison’s Camp—one of the few private camps within the park.
Once aboard the 16-guest African Dream, drift along the shores of Lake Kariba in air-conditioned comfort, dine on fresh-caught sea bream, and observe hippo, crocodile and some 350 bird species from the upper sundeck. Back on land, explore the riverine Mana Pools National Park on foot with a naturalist Expedition Leader, who knows all the best grazing spots to witness herds of zebra, waterbuck and kudu.
Departures begin May 2020, with per-person double rates starting at USD $13,995 ($4595 single supplement, limit of one single per departure). Included are all activities and accommodation, guiding by Nat Hab naturalist Expedition Leaders and local guides, airport transfers, taxes, entrance, permit and service fees, and most meals and gratuities.
