Kenya experiences a long rainy season in April and May and a shorter rainy season in November. December through February can be an excellent time to travel with fewer tourists, and there is usually a slight chance of rain. The days are warm and evenings are cool. Because of Kenya’s proximity to the Equator, temperatures don’t vary a great deal with the season, but the Laikipia area tends to be cooler due to its high altitude.
