Dry Season (Jun–Oct)
Average Lows: 52–64°F
Average Highs: 72–90°F
Kenya is mostly dry and temperate between June and October. The days are warm and evenings are cool. Because of Kenya’s proximity to the Equator, temperatures don’t vary a great deal with season, but the Laikipia area tends to be cooler due to its high altitude. The Great Migration is typically present in the Maasai Mara between July and September, but animal movements can be unpredictable year to year and depend very much on the rainfall the precedes the dry season.
