Katrina Sisco
Katrina’s love of travel was fueled by her parents’ experiences. Her mom got to take her dad on various early Nat Hab trips, and Katrina relished looking at her photo scrapbooks and hearing stories from her adventures. She lost her mom in 2014, but her memory lives on in the travel memories that left an indelible imprint on her daughter. Katrina and her siblings grew up tagging along with their parents to the Bahamas, Hawaii, Costa Rica, the Grand Canyon and elsewhere. As she got older, she started planning trips on her own. Having frequently visited the mountains of Colorado with her family, Katrina began to mull what it would be like to live there. After she graduated from Rutgers University in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and Management, and Psychology, she set a goal to move to Colorado—she just wasn’t sure how she would accomplish it…until she saw a job posting for a position with Nat Hab. She felt the stars align, pointing the way to pursue this next chapter in her life.
As a member of the Adventure Concierge team, Katrina looks after all the pre-trip details that ensure a gratifying adventure for Nat Hab travelers. Given that she loves planning trips as much as taking them, it’s a role she enjoys, providing a seamless, effort-free experience for Nat Hab guests. “I love assisting with any questions or concerns our travelers may have to ease their mind and get them excited,” Katrina says.
Outside of work, Katrina’s hobbies are reading, going to coffee shops, hanging out with friends, traveling and practicing yoga. She is a certified Vinyasa Yoga Instructor interested in deepening the mind-body connection. She has traveled to more than 20 countries, including most recently to Canada with Nat Hab on a Churchill polar bear expedition. Favorite travel memories (so far!) include hiking in Sri Lanka, wandering through the old spice market in Dubai, strolling the streets of Amsterdam, going on safari in South Africa, witnessing waterfalls and glaciers in Iceland, lounging in overwater bungalow in the Maldives, and savoring food in Italy.
